Subhash Desai (Marathi: सुभाष देसाई) is a leader of Shiv Sena from Maharashtra. He is a member of Maharashtra Legislative Council.[2] He had represented Goregaon (Vidhan Sabha constituency) in 1990, 2004 and 2009.[3] On 5 December 2014 Sri Subhash Desai took charge as the Cabinet Minister of Industries Maharashtra State Government after the Shiv Sena B.J.P. allied. He is also guardian minister of Mumbai. He hails from a Maratha family.[4]
