Stuart P. Baker

Stuart P. Baker is a Rear Admiral in the United States Navy.[1]

Biography

A La Crosse, Wisconsin native, Baker was educated as a civilian at Miami University. He graduated in 1989.

Career

Baker received his commission via the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps and he became an aviator in 1991. He served in Operation Southern Watch stationed aboard the USS Constellation (CV-64). After spending time with Carrier Air Wing Fourteen, he was deployed in the Iraq War. Baker was also deployed to serve in Operation Enduring Freedom aboard the USS John C. Stennis.

His assignments ashore have included being stationed with Strike Fighter Weapons School Pacific, the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center as executive officer of the TOPGUN program and United States Fleet Forces Command. Additionally, Baker is a graduate of the Naval War College.
