Stratonice (mythology)
Stratonice (Greek: Στρατoνίκη from στρατός "army" and νίκη "victory") is the name of four women in Greek mythology.
- Stratonice, one of the fifty daughters of Thespius and Megamede. She bore Heracles a son, Atromus.[1]
- Stratonice, a daughter of Pleuron and Xanthippe and thus sister to Agenor, Sterope and Laophonte.[2]
- Stratonice, mother of Eurytus by Melaneus.[3]
- Stratonice, mother of Poemander by Chaeresilaus. She was carried off by Achilles.[4][5]
