Stouffville Sun-Tribune

The Stouffville Sun-Tribune is a local, weekly newspaper covering Stouffville, Ontario.[1] It has a circulation of 14,000.[2]

The newspaper's offices were formerly located on Main St. in Stouffville.[3] The paper is part of the Metroland Media Group.[4]

History

According to the publisher, the 21st century paper is descended from the Stouffville Ready Pay Advocate, (founded 1842,) which was the Whitchurch-Stouffville region's first newspaper. The Advocate became the Stouffville Alert, then Stouffville Advance, and, in 1888, the Stouffville Tribune. The Stouffville Sun was established in 1982. The Sun and the Tribune merged in early 2003.[4]
