Storyhouse

Storyhouse is a large, mixed-use cultural building in Chester, England. It is partially built around the 1936 Grade II listed Chester Odeon Cinema.[1] The complex includes a convertible 835 seat / 480 seat theatre,[2] a 100 seat cinema, a restaurant, and the city library.[3]

The building opened on 17 May 2017[4] with Artistic Director Alex Clifton's new version of John Gay's The Beggar's Opera.[5] It has received over 1 million customers in the first year since opening.[6]
