Storybook Dads

Storybook Dads is a non-profit UK charity founded by Sharon Berry, who was involved in adult literacy, in 2003; it was first launched in Dartmoor Prison.[1][2] The charity runs in approximately 100 prisons (both men and women), with its headquarters in HMP Channings Wood in Devon, and has also inspired similar programmes in other countries, such as America, Australia, Denmark, Hungary, and Poland[3]; similar initiatives have also been launched for soldiers, among other groups.[2]
