Plot

James Masino is a gifted painter. He was successful until a tragedy happened. He was diagnosed with a disease called GBS that paralyzes anyone who has these conditions, in his case, he was crippled. When he knew that he will die or end his career as a lame painter, he left the city and exiled himself in an island with only his art sets on hand, waiting for his inevitable death there. But a mysterious woman named Emma, which James thought that was a resident.

In this times, James made a resolution that he will paint Emma and that will be his last painting, inspired by Emma's existence and words to him.

But there is a twist happened. His parents confessed to him that he was adopted by them from a former maid that was recently separated with her live-in partner, promising them that she will return soon. But she never returned since then. She died when a bus collided on her when the bus left terminal and the brakes broke loose. Emma is James' mother.

Initially shocked, he decided that Emma's painting will not be the last painting he will make.

Many years later, John Lloyd Cruz interviews him why he did a great comeback as a painter, only to ask him back.
