Stigmella roborella mine

The wingspan is 5–7 millimetres (0.20–0.28 in). Adults are on wing from April to September.[3]

The larvae feed on Quercus castaneaefolia, Quercus cerris, Quercus petraea, Quercus pubescens, Quercus roburm and Quercus rubra. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine consists of a long, slender corridor. In the first part the frass is concentrated in a narrow line.[4]
