Stellar Awards

  • Not to be confused with the Stella Awards that were given between 2002 and 2007 to people who filed outrageous and frivolous lawsuits.

The Stellar Awards is a Gospel Music Awards in the U.S., honoring Gospel Music artists, writers, and industry professionals. It is produced by Chicago-based Central City Productions Inc.[1][2]

The Stellar Awards was first taped in Chicago at the Arie Crown Theater.[1] The show has featured performances by Yolanda Adams, [2] The Clark Sisters, Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene[2] Da' T.R.U.T.H, Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary, Heather Headley, CeCe Winans,[3] Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Tamela Mann and many more. The show has been held at various venues across the United States in cities such as Atlanta,[2] Chicago,[1] Houston,[4] Los Angeles, Las Vegas,[5] Nashville,[6] and New York. The show is normally taped in mid-January and is broadcast on local and national TV stations such as ABC, FOX, and NBC.
