Stelios Ioannou Learning Resource Center
Stelios Ioannou Learning Resource Center (Greek: Βιβλιοθήκη – Κέντρο Πληροφόρησης «Στέλιος Ιωάννου») is an under construction information center and library in Aglandjia, Nicosia, Cyprus.
The project takes the form of an artificial hill. The library will be a 5 level building (basement, ground floor and three floors) covering a total area of approximately 15,700 m2.[1] It is expected that by 2018 the construction will be completed and the library will open to the public.[2]
The project was designed by the famous French architect Jean Nouvel.[3] It is named after the Greek Cypriot industrialist Stelios Ioannou.
