Stary Gostyń [ˈstarɨ ˈɡɔstɨɲ] (German: Alt Gostyn, 1939-45: Alt Gostingen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gostyń, within Gostyń County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Gostyń and 56 km (35 mi) south of the regional capital Poznań.

The village has a population of 440.
