Standing Rules of the United States Senate, Rule XXXV

Rule XXXV of the Standing Rules of the United States Senate, established by the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, governs the acceptance of gifts by employees the Senate.[1] The rule strictly regulates the criteria under which an employee of the Senate may accept a gift.
