St Angela's Ursuline School and Sixth Form is a Catholic secondary school for girls with a mixed gender 6th form centre. It is located in Forest Gate, East London, United Kingdom. It is a voluntary aided school with 1375 students.[1] St. Angela’s is a Roman Catholic school built in 1862 by the sisters of the Ursuline order, inspired by the vision of their founder and the school's namesake. St. Angela’s is a multi-ethnic, voluntary-aided Languages College in the London Borough of Newham. The school population reflects the Catholic population of the borough, which is largely Filipino, Afro-Caribbean, Latino, African and white. 95% of school population are from ethnic minorities.

St Angela's has won national championships in basketball and debating (Debate Mate).

Uniform

The uniform is as follows:- Brown pleated kilt Blouse: Cream (years 7 & 8) Gold (years 9, 10 & 11) Brown blazer (compulsory for year 7-9) Brown blazer with gold trim (compulsory for year 10-11) Plain dark brown sweater Plain outdoor coat in brown, black or beige Sturdy brown or black shoes suitable for school Scarves and headbands must be plain black, brown or beige

Black suit with leather black shoes and any colour shirt and tie for boys at sixth form. Girls must wear blouses with black blazer and black trowsers/skirt accompanied by black shoes at sixth form.

PE kit

PE Kit: Black shorts Gold shirt Black sweatshirt Plimsolls or trainers not covering the ankle

Jewellery

Girls may wear a watch and ear studs or ear sleepers of not more than 1 cm diameter. No other form of body piercing is allowed.
