St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School

St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School is a former Catholic High School located in the Bronx, NY. It was located in the University Heights section of the Bronx.[1] The school opened in 1927 and closed in 1991.[1] St. Nicholas' was operated by the parish of the same name St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church (Bronx). Ernie Myers,[2] Malik Sealy, who attended St. John's University; Brian Reese, the University of North Carolina, and Adrian Autry, Syracuse - were students at the school.[1] The school was known for its basketball program.[3] In 1975, Tolentine was the nation’s highest ranked high school.[4]
