St. Michael's School, Durgapur

St.Michael's School, Durgapur (established in 1966) is a private Christian missionary English medium co-educational school located in the steel city of Durgapur.[1] Located adjacent to the St Michael's Church it is under the Church of North India and follows the Protestant denomination. It has about 3000 students studying. It is affiliated to the ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) board.[2] It is located in the Bidhannagar, Durgapur locality of the city. Classes Nursery to XII. There is science and commerce in plus two. The school has a huge library with more than 3000 books. There are laboratories, computer rooms, a huge football ground and a well made basketball court. It has a canteen, more of a tuck shop where students can buy snacks during recess.[3] In the year 2018, it has opened a multipurpose hall beside the school.
