Stéphane Roy (born June 29, 1967, in Quebec City, Quebec, and raised in Cap-Rouge, Quebec) is a retired professional ice hockey player who was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the third round (51st overall).
Career
Roy played with the Minnesota North Stars in the 1987–88 season, scoring one goal in twelve games and accumulating zero penalty minutes. He also spent several stints with the Canadian National Team during the first half of his career, making the team five times in a seven-year span (1986–93).
Personal
He is the brother of Hockey Hall of Fame goaltender Patrick Roy.[1]
