Srinath (actor)

Srinath (born May 12, 1974) is an Indian film actor, comedian and director who has appeared in Tamil films.

Career

He started his early life in 1991 as a student of the visual communications discipline at Loyola college. Even as a student he began acting in films like 'Naalaya Theerpu (tamil released in 1992)' aside actor Vijay and 'Nammavar (Tamil 1993-94 release)' with Kamal Hassan. He later worked as an assistant director with director kathir and his mentor late cinematographer and director Jeeva who gave him a break as an actor in 2005 with films like ullam ketkumae and unnalae unnalae (tamil-2007 romantic musical). He has acted in more than fifty films and currently has acting engagements in 'Kumki 2' (a sequel to 'Kumki 1 by director Prabhu Solomon), 'Daavu', 'Veeramadevi' and 'Agni Kunchi Ondru Kanden'. As a director he has two films to his credit 'Muthirai (Tamil - 2009 thriller written by Aneez Tanveer Jeeva, wife of late director Jeeva)' and 'Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham'. He has transformed as a film producer as well with his film production company SRI inc. spouse: vassandra, kid: sahana ^[1]
