The Sri Lankan long-tailed shrew (Crocidura miya) is a species of mammal in the family Soricidae. It is endemic to Sri Lanka. It is threatened by habitat loss. It is known as ශ්‍රී ලංකා කුනු හික් මීයා by Sinhalese people.

Description

Head and body length is 7-8.5 cm. Tail is 9–10 cm long. It is brown above with gray at base of hairs and is colored slightly lighter below. The tail is brown and longer than head and body combined.
