Sree Neelakanta Government Sanskrit College Pattambi is a college in the Malabar region of Kerala, India. It is situated at Pattambi in Palakkad District of Kerala. Government of Kerala upgraded the institution as a Centre of Excellence In 1993. The college conducts various undergraduate and post graduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce faculties.[1] The centenary celebrations of the college took place in 2012.[2] National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NACC) of UGC has accredited this college with 'A' Grade.[3]

Over 100 poets from across Kerala and neighbouring states met at the college in 2016, for 'Carnival of Poetry', an event organised by the department of Malayalam in association with an online magazine.[4]

Alumni

Among the alumni of the College were prominent writers such as Kuttikrishna Marar, P. Kunhiraman Nair, M. P. Sankunni Nair, and K. P. Narayana Pisharody.[5]
