School Safety
The Springfield Police Department has a school safety program that employs School Resource Officers and teaches kids about drug and gun safety.
Traffic Division
The Springfield Police Department also contains a traffic division that is made up of traffic wardens. Traffic Wardens drive Crown Victoria’s with amber lights.
