Splash (South African band)

Splash were a Soweto township band of the 1980s and 1990s led by Dan Tshanda, lead vocalist and bass guitar.[1][2][3] In 1991 two members of Splash formed their own band, Matshikos, releasing an album The Park Is Mine.

Reggae band Splash

In 1980 two members of a Reggae band Splash, Radebe and Charles, were arrested and imprisoned for performing "A Tribute to Martyrs" and "Freedom to Mandela", Nelson Mandela. [4][5]
