Speckkahl is a river of Bavaria, Germany.
The Speckkahl rises in the nature reserve "Amphibienfreistätte Speckkahl".[1] It is a headwater of the Sommerkahl.[2] The name Speckkahl ("Bacon Kahl") comes from a time when people carried their ham and bacon along the creek from Sommerkahl to Jakobstal for trading.
