Southern Indian Ocean Fisheries Agreement (SIOFA) is an International agreement between several nations signed in Rome on 7 July 2006 and entered into force on 21 June 2012.[1] The purpose is to ensure and promote the long-term conservation and sustainable use of the fishery resources in the area through cooperation among the member states.

Secretariat

The Secretariat is based in Reunion, France. The current Executive Secretary is Jon Lansley.[3]
