Southern Albania is one of the three NUTS-2 Regions of Albania.[1] It consists of five counties: Berat, Fier, Gjirokastër, Korçë and Vlorë.
In Greece, a subset of the region, including the Southern-most areas as well as areas near the Greek border, is known as Northern Epirus.[2][3]
