South African Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association
SAHPA logo
SAHPA is an acronym for the South African Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association. SAHPA is the governing body for paragliding, hang gliding, powered paragliding, powered hang gliding and para-trikes in South Africa.[1]
All pilots that take part in these sports in South Africa must be licensed by SAHPA, as required by the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
