Soumya Sadanandan is a Director in the Malayalam film industry.[1][2][3] She has also acted in several Malayam Movies. She was wellknown as an anchor of a film based show in Kappa TV, called 'Film Lounge' which was broadcast for 4 years from 2013-2017. She is working on her directorial debut - a Malayalam movie under the banner UGM Production starring Kunchacko Boban and Nimisha Sajayan.[4]

Early life

Born at Sooranad, Kollam District in Kerala, Soumya was bought up at Thiruvananthapuram. After her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya she completed her Electrical and Electronics Engineering from College Of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram , Kerala. After working with Aditya Birla Minacs, Bengaluru for four years she switched to join the Film Industry in 2010.
