Sonny Allen (born March 8, 1936) is an American college basketball coach. He was the head coach at Old Dominion University from 1965 to 1975, Southern Methodist University from 1975 to 1980 and University of Nevada, Reno from 1980 to 1987. He later served as the head coach of the Sacramento Monarchs from 1999 to 2001.[1][2]
