Son of a Trickster

Son of a Trickster is a 2017 coming of age novel^[1] by Eden Robinson. In it, a teenage boy wades through the complications of a broken family, social pressure, drugs, alcohol and poverty^[2] and discovers the Haisla trickster Wee'jit.^[3] The story is set in Kitimat, British Columbia.

It is the first in a Trickster trilogy written by Robinson and took eight years to write.^[4] Filmmaker Michelle Latimer and Streel Films have secured rights to adapt the book to TV series.^[5]
