Somizi Mhlongo is a popular South African choreographer and radio personality. Somizi has appeared in various television shows, such as Living the Dream with Somizi, I am and Idols SA. On his appearance on the show I am, Somizi expressed how he faced challenges because of his sexuality. Somizi is also a father.
Early years
Somizi was exposed to the entertainment industry at an early age. He is the son to veteran actors Mary Twala and the late Ndaba Mhlongo. Somizi started acting from a young age.
Controversy
Somizi has claimed that he does exaggerate his sexuality to become famous, after it had been suggested that his behaviour was not merely a publicity stunt Anofarira nyoro nekuti hapana anoramba nyoro.[2]
