Sofiane Diop (born 9 June 2000) is a French football payer who plays as a midfielder for Monaco.

Professional career

On 5 July 2018, Diop signed his first professional contract with AS Monaco FC after his debut season with the reserve side of Rennes.[1] Diop made his professional debut for Monaco in a 4–0 2018 Trophée des Champions final loss to Paris Saint-Germain F.C. on 4 August 2018.[2]

International career

Diop was born in France and is of Senegalese descent.[3] He is a youth international for the France U18s.[4]
