Snake Island (Tasmania)

Snake Island, one of many Snake Islands around world, is a small, low-lying island in south-eastern Australia. It is part of the Betsey Island Group, lying close to the south-eastern coast of Tasmania around Bruny Island Tasmania in the D'entrcasteaux channel. Lat -43.1716. Long 147.2941[1][2]

Flora and fauna

Trees on the island include Allocasuarinas and eucalypts. Pacific gulls have attempted to breed there.[3]
