Snåsa Church (Norwegian: Snåsa kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Snåsa municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Snåsa. It is the church for the Snåsa parish which is part of the Nord-Innherad prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. [1]

The stone church was built in a long church design and in Romanesque style in first half of the 13th century. The oldest part was built in the first half of the 13th century. It was remodeled and enlarged in Neo-Gothic style according to drawings by architect Carl Julius Bergstrøm (1828-1898) of Trondheim in 1869. The church was expanded with a cross-shaped floor plan. The wooden, baroque altarpiece is from 1677. The pulpit is composed of elements dating from the 1600's. The church seats about 500 people. [2][3][4] [5]
