Skyz Metro FM is the first commercial radio station for the second largest city of Zimbabwe, Bulawayo.

The station provides music, culture, news and current affairs to listeners in Bulawayo and further at a 60km radius around the city.

The station has been received well by the people of the city of Bulawayo and surrounding areas as it relates to their culture and music than any other station in the country.

It has various interactive shows that engage the community around the region. Some of the popular shows on the station include the famous Vuka Vuka breakfast, which airs between 6 AM and 10 AM, the educative and informative Singabantu Banye which airs between 10 AM and 2 PM, and Rea Vaya, a drive time show between 2 PM and 6 PM.

The station is arguably the best thing that ever happened in recent years in the city. Some people compare it with Highlanders F.C., one of the city’s most celebrated and cherished treasures.

The station also uses the tagline #Esabantu (for the people).
