Skúli Mogensen (born September 18, 1968) is an Icelandic financial investor with a majority ownership of Icelandic-based airline WOW air.[1][2][3]

Career

Skúli attended the University of Iceland where he studied philosophy. He co-founded his first business, OZ Communications, while in school and dropped out when the company took off.[4][5] He served as CEO until the company was sold to Nokia in 2008.[6] He was among the founders of Íslandssími[5] and Arctic Ventures. Skúli is a board member at Securitas, MP Bank, Datamarket, Redline Communications, and other companies.[7]

Skúli Mogensen was named Iceland's Businessman of the Year in 2011 and 2016.[4]
