Herbert Perrott Pakington (c. 1701 – 1748) was a Pakington baronet and Member of Parliament. [1]
Life
Pakington was born around 1701 to Sir John Packington and, Hester Perrott, his father's second wife. He succeeded his father to the baronetcy and Westwood House in 1727.
From 1727 to 1747, he was one of the two Members of Parliament (MPs) for Worcestershire succeeding his father.[2]
Packington was one of the lovers of the courtesan Teresia Constantia Phillips. Packington was so obsessed with her that he twice attempted to suicide to keep her attention.[3]
He had two sons, John and Herbert Perrott, who became the sixth and seventh Pakington baronets.
