FK Sinđelić Niš (Serbian Cyrillic: ФК Синђелић Ниш) is a football club from Niš, Serbia. They currently compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system.

History

Founded in 1918, the club won the Niš Football Subassociation League in the competition's inaugural 1932 season. They competed in the 1996–97 Second League of FR Yugoslavia, but instantly suffered relegation to the third tier.[1] The club achieved one of the biggest results in their history by reaching the quarter-finals of the 2007–08 Serbian Cup, when they were eliminated by Partizan after losing 1–5.[2] After finishing second in the 2007–08 season, they won the Serbian League East in the 2009–10 season, thus earning promotion to the First League. The club finished in fifth place in their debut season in the second tier of Serbian football, but were relegated in the 2011–12 season. They repeated the success in the national cup by reaching the quarter-finals of the 2010–11 Serbian Cup, when they were again eliminated by Partizan after losing 0–4.[3]
