Gradski fudbalski klub Dubočica (Serbian Cyrillic: Градски фудбалски клуб Дубочица), commonly referred to as GFK Dubočica or simply Dubočica, is a football club from Leskovac, Serbia. They currently compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system.

History

Founded in 1923, the club made its Yugoslav Second League debut in the 1968–69 campaign. They spent four seasons in the second tier of Yugoslav football, before being relegated in 1972.[1] The club was promoted back after four years, spending the following seven seasons in the Second League between 1976 and 1983.

After the breakup of the former Yugoslavia, the club participated in the Second League of FR Yugoslavia from 1992 to 1995.[2] They returned to the Second League in 1996, but bounced back at the end of the season after finishing at the bottom of the table. The club made another Second League comeback in 1999. They made their biggest achievement after finishing third (Group East) in the 2000–01 season. The club competed in the Second League until 2003, when they were relegated to the Serbian League East.[3]

After being relegated from the Serbian League East in 2014, the club was unable to participate in any league due to financial problems. They eventually started competing in the 2015–16 Jablanica District League, the fifth tier of the national league system, immediately earning promotion to the Zone League South. The club won the fourth-tier championship in 2018, thus returned to the Serbian League East.[4]
