Silvanus inarmatus is a species of ant-like beetles of the family Silvanidae that lives in Cape Verde.[1] The species was described by Thomas Vernon Wollaston in 1867,[1] the same year as another species Pentaria brevicornis and Pseudoscraptia dimidiata' he described.

Its genus name inarmatus is that it is unarmed in which its skin looks like it is unarmed. Its English name is the Unarmed antlike beele or Unarmed silvan flat bark beetle.
