Sigma Capricorni, Latinized from σ Capricorni, is a solitary[8] star in the southern constellation of Capricornus. It is an evolved, orange-hued K-type giant star with an apparent magnitude of +5.31.[2] Sigma Capricorni is located approximately 1,100 light years from Earth.
