Shweta Munshi

Shweta Munshi is an Indian television actress. She made her debut as an actress in TV series “Kyunki Jeena Isse Ka Naam Hai” which was aired on Doordarshan Channel. She became popular for her work as an actress in daily soap Maayke Se Bandhi Dor in which she played the leading role of "Avni Patil" which was aired on Star Plus. Previously, she played the role of Arpita in the most famous Zee TV show, Punar Vivah. She also appeared in Zee TV show Bandhan [1] as Aditya Redij’s wife Prabha.

Early life

Shweta Munshi was born in Indore, MP, India. She has completed her high school education from Indore and later completed her graduation in computer science from Institute of Engineering and Technology, DAVV. During her study for graduation she started her career on the field of acting by joining theatre as an artist. She did theatre for almost one year and performed in number of stage shows. She was later moved to Mumbai and joined Roshan Taneja School of Acting to complete her professional diploma in acting. After completed her acting course from roshan taneja she started to give audition for TV show and got selected as an actress in daily soap “Kyunki Jeena Isse Ka Naam Hai” from where she was started to get recognized.

Career

She started her career with a show that was telecasted on Doordarshan 'Kyunki Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai[2]' and later she appeared on the TV show - 'Maayke Se Bandhi Dor' on Star Plus. It was her first role as a lead that helped her to heighten her career in acting. Later, she has played a cameo on Zee TV's popular show 'Punar Vivah' as Arpita Yash Sindhia. She also played a small role in ' Fear Files'.[3] She also appeared in Zee TV's show 'Bandhan' as Prabha Karnik.[1]
