Shortanbay[1] (Russian: Шортанбай, Shortanbay, Kazakh: Шортанбай, Şortanbay, شورتانباي) is a town in Atyrau Region, west Kazakhstan. It lies at an altitude of 11 m (36 ft) below sea level.[1]
