Shinde
The Shinde, also spelled Scindia , is a Maratha dynasty founded by Ranoji Rao Scindia, who was the son of Jankoji Rao Scindia, the Deshmukh of Kanherkhed, a village in Satara District, Maharashtra, India.
Origins
The Scindia/Shinde were also Shiledars under the sultanates of the Deccan.[1]
