Shigehiro Taguchi (born March 25, 1990) is a Japanese professional basketball player who plays for Chiba Jets Funabashi of the B.League in Japan.[1] He is a native of Akita prefecture and the most popular player in the "Republic of Pink".[2][3] He might be the B.League's best current 3-point shooter, and has won the 3 point contest three times.[4][5][6][7] He is a very reliable midrange shooter and a capable finisher in the lane.[8] Taguchi is a new captain of Happinets in 2016.[9]
