Shayne Elliott (born 1963/64) is a New Zealand banker, and the chief executive officer (CEO) of ANZ Bank.[3]
Shayne Elliott is the son of a builder, and grew up in Te Atatu South, a suburb of Auckland.[1] He was educated at Waitakere College and the University of Auckland.[1]
Elliott is married to Najla, an Egyptian-born economist, who he met when he was running Citigroup's Egypt business in Cairo.[4]
