Shawna Leneé (born April 12, 1987) is an American pornographic actress, dancer, and model.

Early life

Leneé became a mother at age 17.[1] She worked as a mainstream model and actress prior to debuting in adult films.[1]

Career

Leneé entered the adult film industry at 18 years old while she was still in high school.[1] She was booked for her first scene, which took place in Palm Springs, through Model Mayhem.[1]

Early in her career, Leneé worked under the stage names "Kara Mynor" and "Kara Bare".[1] She did not like either of those aliases, which were chosen by her agents at the time instead of her,[1] and considered the use of the name "Mynor" to be unethical.[2] Shawna is her real first name and Leneé is a variation of Lee, which is her middle name.[1]

Leneé appeared on the cover of the July 2008 issue of Penthouse and was featured as the Pet of the Month.[3] In 2009, Leneé was named the Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up.[4] She was quoted that year by the New York Post for her opposition to then New York Governor David Paterson's proposed sales tax on all digital purchases.[4]

Leneé left the adult film industry in 2010 and returned in 2014 after signing a six-month contract with Brazzers.[1] During her hiatus, she attended college for small business management and started a couple of businesses selling crochet patterns and jewelry.[1] She also began working at the Hustler Club in July 2014.[1] She is specifically known for her unique modeling style.

Personal life

Leneé identifies as an atheist and a humanist.[1]
