Shawn Morelli is an American Paralympic gold medalist in cycling. She graduated from Marion Military Institute and commissioned as an engineer officer in the United States Army in 1996[1]. She is also a veteran of the War in Afghanistan (2001–2014).[2] She is originally from Saegertown, Pennsylvania, but is a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado.[3] She retired as a Major in the United States Army.
