Shanudrie Priyasad (Sinhala: ශනුද්‍රි ප්‍රියසාද්; born September 8, 1997) is an award - winning Sri Lankan actress, model and a singer.[1]

Personal life

Shanudrie is the youngest of three siblings of popular film maker Dinesh Priyasad. Her two elder sisters, Dinakshie and Sheshadrie are also popular actresses, where Sheshadrie is only active in cinema. She completed education from Colombo Royal Institute.

Career

Her first movie role was in Onna Babo, which was directed by her father and later she appeared in Rosa Kale, Suwanda Denuna Jeewithe, Angara Dangara and Lantin Singho.[2][3] She is renowned for her role Samalka in Deveni Inima teledrama. She has also featured in a Mal Sihinaye music video.[4]

Accolades

In 2012 she received the ‘Best Child Actress’ award for her role in Sandagiri Pawwa teledrama at the State Television Awards.[2]
