Shannon Walsh is a Canadian filmmaker, writer and scholar.[1][2] She has directed three feature documentaries H2Oil (2009),[3] À St-Henri, le 26 août (2011) and Jeppe on a Friday (2013).[4][5]

Walsh, who was born in London, Ontario, Canada, is also an academic, and teaches film production at the University of British Columbia in the Department of Theatre and Film.[6][7] She is the editor, along with Jon Soske, of Ties that Bind: Race and the Politics of Friendship in South Africa [8] published in 2016.
