Shannon Harrington is an American actress and singer who is best known for playing Susan Waverly in two consecutive Broadway National Tours of Irving Berlin's White Christmas,[1][2] performing in several Off-Broadway plays[3][4][5] and being featured in Verizon Fios' National "Half house" television commercial.[6]
Career
Shannon Harrington is a NYC-based actress and singer. After appearing in several episodes of SproutTV's Let's Go Show,[7][8][9] and several regional theatrical productions,[10] Harrington played Susan Waverly for two consecutive tours of the Broadway musical - Irving Berlin's White Christmas, including a month-long run at the Kennedy Center in 2012. In 2014, Harrington was cast as part of the acting ensemble in Sundance Director's Lab,[11][12] playing the lead "Dalva" in "The Father's Shadow", written and directed by Brazilian writer/director Gabriela Amaral Almeida.[13] Harrington has also appeared in the films Good Enough with James Caan, and Emunah,
Harrington appeared in several Off-Broadway productions, including playing Scout in To Kill A Mockingbird at the Queens Theatre,[14][15][16] Dorothy Benson in the Lucille Lortel Award-Winning[17] Women Without Men[18][19][20] at City Center II, and originated the role of Young Esther in the holocaust survivor memoir From Silence[21] with Karen Lynn Gorney at Theater for the New City.
Shannon Harrington and her sister - Broadway Actress[22] and Disney Channel personality[23] Brigid Harrington - performed and were taped live at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC for the 5th season of America's Got Talent. They were featured in a "Great Talent" commercial for America's Got Talent[24] which aired on NBC, and the Oxygen Network.
Harrington has recorded audio bumpers and show intros for Sprout TV, and radio commercials for Crayola Crayons, American Girl, Kohl's, and AT&T.[25]
She has also appeared in several television commercials for Adventure Aquarium, Quaker Oats, IKEA, and in 2017, a Verizon Fios "Half House" commercial,[26] which won the US Creative Work Of The Week.
Personal life
Shannon Harrington lives in the New York metro area and has an older sister, Brigid Harrington, who is a Broadway Actress[27] and Disney Channel personality.[28]
