Shane is the mononym stage name of American pop singer Shane Niemi (born August 2nd, 1995 in Los Angeles). He is best known for a viral YouTube video for his 2016 song Insecure. Included in the choreography of the video is a version of Michael Jackson's Anti-gravity lean. The video has been viewed over 4 million times[1] and has made Shane a Facebook sensation.[2] The song is included in his album Sad.

Niemi has been performing since the age of 8 and began writing original songs at age 12.[3]

On August 27th, 2017 Shane released his 4th music video for his song "Play Good Music At My Funeral".

On October 14th, 2017 Shane released his 5th music video for his song "Losers".
